Veterinary Reception / Front Desk:

Terri Aldrich:

Hi, my name is Terri and I have worked for WVH since 2005. I am originally from Ann Arbor and am a licensed cosmetologist.  In 1988 I moved to sunny San Diego to pursue my dream of working with animals. I have now worked in the veterinary field for over 20 years in both small animal and avian/exotic hospitals, as a technician and receptionist. I enjoy small animal medicine, and would also love the opportunity to work with zoo or marine animals someday. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, scrapbooking, kickboxing, and making toys for my Umbrella cockatoo "Sidney" and my Moluccan cockatoo "Sinbad".  I enjoy my job as a receptionist and am very proud to be a part of Washtenaw Veterinary Hospital.

Rachael L'Esperance:

Hi, I'm Rachael.  I recently moved here from Tucson, Arizona, where I spent several years working in specialty and emergency veterinary practices and fostering homeless cats and dogs.  I love helping clients, solving problems, learning about diagnostics, and helping to make a trip to the vet a pleasant experience for both clients and their pets.  In my free time, I enjoy hiking, crafting (painting figurines, making bead jewelry, etc.), singing, and of course animals!  I also love spending time with my own furry family members, Mac, our 8-year-old Rat Terrier, and Mister D, our 2-year-old cat.

Veterinary Technicians:

Trish Post:

Hi, my name is Trish. I began working in the veterinary field in 1981 and have been working with small animals ever since. Throughout my career, I have worked with various practices, all of which have enhanced my love of animals. I truly enjoy all aspects of working in a veterinary practice from educating clients to working directly with the patients as a technician. My favorite part of the job is working one-on-one with the diverse array of animals we get to see on a regular basis. I very much enjoy preparing for and monitoring patients during surgery. In my spare time, I like spending time outdoors, going camping and fishing, and spending time with my family. I also enjoy hanging out with my 14-year-old Laborador, Max, and my 5-year-old cat, OP.

Giuliana Scott:

Hi! My name is Giuliana. My husband and I moved to Ann Arbor from San Diego, California, with our orange tabby, Leo, and Miniature Schnauzer mix, Katie. After graduating from college with a BS in Environmental Biology I started working in a veterinary hospital and loved it. I’ve been working in the field ever since and recently earned my California Registered Veterinary Technician license. I’ve worked in many realms of veterinary medicine, including an internship at the San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park hospital and an AmeriCorps position for VETSOS, a veterinary outreach program for homeless people with pets in San Francisco. Client education and surgery are two of my favorite parts of this job. In my free time, I can be found hiking, baking, gardening, or crocheting. I’m also enjoying exploring Ann Arbor and everything the Midwest has to offer.

Tara Bayliss:

Hi, I'm Tara. I grew up in Litchfield, Michigan, and am a recent graduate of the Veterinary Technician program at Baker College.  I love working with animals and building relationships with their owners, and am looking forward to getting to know everyone at WVH!  In my free time time, I enjoy being with my family and friends, as well as hanging out with my 1-year-old basset hound Cooper, my cat Callie (a calico I adopted from the shelter), and my 11-year-old quarter horse Majestic.
